2007 Panther Shootout in the Books!

The 8th grade boys division saw the Iowa Attack blister the nets in the finals to run away from the Iowa Barnstormers for back-to-back Panther Shootout 8th grade championships.  The Attack beat the Cedar Rapids Knights and the Barnstormers knocked out the Iowa Glory to advance to the championship game.

The 7th grade boys division saw the tournament favorite Iowa Storm roll through the competition to take home the tournament championship over the Riders of Des Moines.  The Storm took out the Iowa Attack Black and the the Riders beat the Dubuque Red Storm to reach the title game.

The 8th grade girls division was once again won by the Iowa Attack.  They beat a tough Ankeny Rebels squad to take the crown.  From the beginning the Attack and Rebels both appeared to be the top two teams on a collision course and the hard fought game proved to be one of the best games in the tournament.

The 7th grade girls division was dominated by the Cornhusker Shooting Stars!  They cruised to the title over the Lady Lightning.  The Shooting Stars were never really challenged throughout the weekend, but the Lady Lightning pulled off an upset over the Attack to reach the title game.
